Comedy Superstar Jason Manford is BACK for a third year of panto at the Opera House as Prince Charming! Jason is joined by Manchester panto favourite Ben Nickless, who returns for another year of fun as the hilarious Buttons, alongside star of stage and screen Myra DuBois as Cinderella’s Wicked Stepmother. They will be joined by musical theatre’s Wendy Mae Brown as the Fairy Godmother and Sarah Vaughan as Cinderella.

Once upon a time, in a Pantoland far away, a beautiful Princess is cursed by the evil Carabosse to perish on her 21st birthday by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel. Thanks to Beauty’s fairy, she only falls into a deep sleep that can be broken by her one true love. Will her handsome prince come to her rescue, fight the dragon, destroy Carabosse and save the day? What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man: a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire! How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree?

Young Jack, his daft-as-a-brush brother, Silly Simon, and his long-suffering mother, Dame Trott, live in a tiny cottage in the shadow of the terrible giant, Blunderbore. With the rent overdue they have no choice but to sell their beloved cow, Daisy. After tricking the Trotts into selling her for a bag of worthless beans, the villainous giant's henchman – Fleshcreep - kidnaps the Princess for his master's supper.



Will Jack be able to rescue Daisy and Princess Jill in time? Perhaps those beans aren't as worthless as they seemed ...
